Blacks are X times more likely to commit murder than whites -find X?

UK Data not available: I asked the Office of National Statistics about the fifty thousand knife crimes committed in England & Wales last year 2020 and was advised that no data of crime-ethnicity was available:  tps://www.ons.gov.uk/aboutus/transparencyandgovernance/freedomofinformationfoi/knifecrimeinenglandandwalesfor2020byethnicity

US Data is available, however. For New York 2020   –  60% homicide convictions by blacks, 22.8% of populace – 3.6% by whites, 36% of populace.
So the answer is 26. In NY 2020, blacks are 26 times more likely to kill than whites.

    Here are some overall US crime stats for 2010:

      2.Black males kill around twenty times more than white males. 3.

      3. Asians are the most pacific ie non-violent culture.

Here is NYC in 2014, showing blacks are 31 times more likely to be arrested for murder, than whites. They are 98 times more likely to be arrested for shooting than whites. Whereas for rape, they are only 11 times more likely to be arrested than whites.

This table doesn’t have homicide, but it cites violent crime as about five times higher for blacks than whites in the USA.

In 2014 in New York City, a black was 31 times more likely than a white to be arrested for murder,

For the crime of “shooting” [in NY City] — defined as firing a bullet that hits someone — a black was 98.4 times more likely than a white to be arrested,

In NYC 2014, 374  people were arrested for murder. Their races were as follows:
White: 2.9 percent, Black: 61.8 percent, Hispanic: 31.8 percent, Asian: 2.7 percent
NYC Population was 32.8 percent white, 22.6 percent black, 28.9 percent Hispanic, and 13.0 percent Asian,

=> a black was 31 times more likely than a white to be arrested for murder*

• Thus, 33 whites => 2.9%,    23 blacks => 62%  so   100 whites  2.9*100/33,    100 blacks    62*100/23, => ratio is   (62/23)* (33/2.9) = 31

• For UK ONS data on homicide, data for year ending March 2020: “Around one in five (21%) suspects were identified as Black, seven times higher than the general population (3%) “

• – So that is a factor of seven (or 6 if % of blacks is 3.3%)

• For 2019, According to the FBI, African-Americans accounted for 56% of all homicide offenders with whites 41% (wiki). That means they are 6.9 times more likely to kill. (Nb this figure is not gender-separated.

For 2019, ‘over two-thirds (70%) of suspects convicted of homicide were White, almost one in five (18%) were Black,’

the UK Govt does not reckon ethnicity is very relevant, thus: ‘The Serious Violence Strategy, published by the Government in 2018, states “the evidence on links between serious violence and ethnicity is limited. Once other factors are controlled for, it is not clear from the evidence whether ethnicity is a predictor of offending or victimisation”’

we can expect that 4.5 percent of black men – about one in 22 – would eventually kill someone. For white men, in the lower left, it would be 0.27 percent, or about one 17th the black rate. For white women, the number is 0.059 percent.
