A group of us oldies have been meeting up monthly to debate ‘deep politics’ or counter-culture themes for the last fifteen years – branching off from the old 9/11 truth movement in 2010, as it was dying. Sure we deal with edgy themes but are we far-right? The main problem here is that the police have completely forgotten the meaning of the word ‘crime’ and will arrest people on the basis of hurt feelings, wearing the wrong T-shirt, praying in a public space, or for something that they might be intending to do. After all, performing such arrests is so much less stressful than going after real crime. With a population enraged by uncontrolled immigration, ‘Prevent’ are now alleging that such groups are ‘spreading extreme, far-right views.’ Clearly that is defamation, however a defamation lawsuit is quite expensive and probably beyond the reach of the people thus targeted.
‘Prevent’ is supposed to have a mandate to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism: however, these groups/persons have never advocated violence or even supported any group that does. It therefore needs to issue an apology.
The police have just arrested five hundred oldies, mostly over seventy, for sitting in Parliament Square saying they support Palestine Action. If those people are supporting or endorsing ‘terrorism’ then words have lost all meaning. Yes some paint was sprayed on some jet planes, but was that really damage? Surely they could still fly OK? The real terrrorists are the RAF, who have been bombing other people’s capital cities throughout this century – only of brown-skinned persons of course, their agenda is absolutely racist.
We need to honour those who got themselves arrested, making their protest, against ULTIMATE HORROR – what Israel is doing in Gaza. Why does the British army always fight on the wrong side of every war, why is it not there in Gaza protecting the people? The whole country of Palestine has had its towns, villages and olive-groves eradicated, to make way for a white, colonial-settler people, trying to pretend that the Bible gives them a right to do this. Well excuse me but Abraham was brown.
Our group periodically gets targeted by Hope not Hate or Antifa or denounced in the Guardian, however they can never quite destroy it because the people who come enjoy each others company too much. There’s one topic that we don’t ever touch however and that is WW2, that remains today simply too contentious and inflammatory. The government cannot tolerate centres of independent thought, because they suspect with good reason that those involved might not be believing the government’s narrative. O, what you didn’t wear your Covid mask? The police are now functioning merely as instruments of state repression, which will quickly destroy any bond of respect between them and the British people.
